Donate/Adopt a Horse
Can I donate my horse to the ranch?
On occasion, we accept horses from many types of situations. Horses kept by the ranch that are donated or purchased for the program must demonstrate an aptitude for acceptance of children, and possess willingness, physical and mental capability to work. Because of this we are very selective in the horses we accept as donations. The ranch is rarely able to accept horses with limitations due to age, behavior problems, or soundness.
For those of you with elderly horses who have expended their youth serving; we strongly encourage you to love them through the end by keeping them. If you are considering getting a new horse and do not have the funds to support two animals, we recommend waiting to acquire a new horse until you have found a healthy, safe, and happy home for your retired equine.
